Refund Policy

Prices, payments, cancellations and refunds at storylinki follow the rules below. Every service is agreed individually by telephone, email or in person, so nothing is ordered or paid for on storylinki.info itself.

Quotations and confirmation of an order

Before any work begins, we agree the service and its price with you, in a written quotation or by email. A quotation is based on the information you give us and is valid for the period it states; the order is binding once you accept it and we confirm the date in writing.

Refunds and part-completed work

A refund is issued using the payment method of the original transaction, normally within 14 days after we have agreed it with you. If that method is no longer available, we ask you for bank details at hello@storylinki.info and transfer the amount there, free of charge. Services already provided in full are not refundable; for partly completed work we settle the fee for the completed part and return the balance, allowing for material or third-party expenses agreed in advance.

Complaints and remedies

Complaints about the quality of a service should reach us at hello@storylinki.info within 14 days of the work being completed, and can also be raised beforehand by telephone at 01305 264817. We respond within a few working days and agree with you how the matter is to be put right, by reworking the service or by refunding part of the fee.

Paying invoices

Invoices are payable within 14 days of the invoice date unless a different term is agreed in writing, and we accept bank transfer as well as the other methods stated on the invoice. For larger jobs an advance payment or payment in instalments may be agreed and recorded in the quotation. Overdue invoices are followed up with a reminder.

Cancelling a distance contract

Consumers who conclude a contract with us at a distance or away from our business premises have a right to cancel it within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. A clear statement sent to hello@storylinki.info before that period ends is enough, and work you had already asked us to begin is then settled separately.
